FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Kelowna, British Columbia, Monday, March 28, 2022
Allnorth is pleased to announce the acquisition of Plan B Technical Services Inc. (Plan B). Plan B’s professionals and technicians have established themselves as key providers of environmental and survey services to the resource industry in Northern BC, and this union delivers an exciting expansion of Allnorth’s core service capabilities.
Lead by its two Principals, Survey Manager, Zach Sheridan-Carr, and Environmental Manager, Alex Brissard (Pag, CPESC), Plan B delivers professional experience tailored to northern environments. Plan B brings some large clients and projects from the South Peace (Chetwynd/Fort St John) region, including those in the energy, transportation, municipal, and mining sectors. The union provides numerous opportunities to offer these clients a broader range of engineering, construction, and project delivery services, as well as expand service offerings across other Allnorth divisions.
Bringing a primary focus on high-quality construction environmental field services, the Plan B environmental team is keen to explore all areas of Allnorth’s existing service sectors to broaden their experience and offerings within a more diverse range of industries. The team includes erosion and sediment control professionals, water quality technicians, wildlife and fisheries specialists, environmental engineers, and permitting/reporting support.
Plan B also brings a fully equipped Survey Department, that is highly trained with traditional survey equipment and are licensed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Pilots with equipment to provide drone services, such as aerial photography, remote area inspections, as well as photogrammetric surveys on surfaces and piles for construction and mining clients.
“In step with our growth objectives and a desire to better serve Northern BC’s resource sector, this is a win for Allnorth. It all starts with people, and this team is very strong and a great cultural fit. Plan B is a group of highly qualified and experienced professionals who believe in doing the job right the first time and who have earned a solid reputation by doing so,” says Allnorth’s CEO, Darby Kreitz.
As Division Manager, Zach will now head up a Chetwynd based Allnorth division which includes a satellite office in Fort St. John. According to Zach, “Alex and I believe that having Plan B join Allnorth changes the trajectory of our growth plans. We also view this as a strong cultural fit. Several of us, including myself, have worked for Allnorth in the past, and we are excited to return as seasoned team players, bringing additional value to our combined client base in the Peace Region.”
