What is the FortisBC Industrial Optimization Program?
FortisBC is working with British Columbian industrial facilities, such as yours, to improve energy efficiency. We are at your service to facilitate that work.
FortisBC's Industrial Optimization Program provides funding to help identify and implement energy conservation measures (ECMs) that reduce the intensity of natural gas and/or electricity consumption for manufacturing and/or transformative processes in which raw materials are transformed into finished goods for the purpose of resale with the use of machines, tools and labour. The program consists of three offers: Plant Wide Audit, Feasibility Study and Technology Implementation.(1)
What funding incentives are available?(1)
- Plant Wide Audit: 75% of the cost up to $10,000
- Feasibility Study: up to 75% of the cost
- Technology Implementation: up to $1 million

Is there a deadline?
Yes! FortisBC's energy savings programs are valid for projects completed by the end of March 2021.
