Allnorth has promoted Leon Venter to Vice President, Business Development, Industrial, reflecting a deliberate shift in how the company supports clients through complex projects. By placing experienced leadership directly at early decision points, Allnorth is improving alignment from the outset and reducing the risk of cost pressure, schedule delays, and execution challenges later in delivery.
Many projects lose momentum due to unclear scope, limited senior involvement, and too many handoffs at critical stages. These gaps create misalignment that becomes difficult to correct as projects move forward. Allnorth is addressing this by positioning leaders like Leon where project direction is defined, bringing practical experience into front-end planning and ensuring decisions reflect both technical and business realities.
Leon brings more than 21 years of experience across plant optimization, engineering leadership, project delivery, and business development in the chemical, oil and gas, and bulk material handling sectors. He has led major capital projects from concept through commissioning, with experience across both owner and EPCM environments. In practice, this improves continuity between project phases, supports faster alignment during early development, and helps ensure decisions are held through execution. The result is improved cost confidence, clearer direction, and a reduced likelihood of downstream surprises.
“Leon’s promotion reflects Allnorth’s continued investment in strengthening client experience through senior leadership engagement,” said Kris Kotzer, Chief Operating Officer at Allnorth. “This is about reducing the gaps between early planning and execution. By placing senior leaders closer to these decisions, we are strengthening accountability and helping avoid the misalignment that often drives risk later in projects.”
“I’ve worked on both the client and delivery side, so I understand the pressure to get decisions right early, not just move projects forward,” said Leon Venter. “My focus is on solving problems from the client’s perspective, ensuring decisions are well informed and stand up through the entire project lifecycle.”
This approach provides direct access to experienced decision-makers, stronger alignment from the start, and a partner accountable for outcomes, not just deliverables. It reflects a more deliberate model for project delivery, grounded in practical experience, and focused on driving predictable performance across the full lifecycle.
