As a metallurgical engineer, Benjamin has hands-on operations experience across all areas of the mining value chain. This includes open pit and underground mining, mineral processing, and pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical extraction processes. He has executed projects ranging in complexity from conceptual studies through to full EPCM implementation. A valuable specialty of Benjamin’s is his success in commissioning operations and assisting clients to achieve name-plate capacity in the shortest possible timeframe. Benjamin has considerable expertise in metallurgical design, engineering management, and project management, and works closely as a trusted client advisor. He has delivered capital projects ranging from $90M to $500M in over 15 countries with varying languages and cultural requirements, and a variety of codes, standards, and regulations.
