At Allnorth, giving back is part of how we show up, not just as engineers, project managers, and problem-solvers, but as neighbours and community members. Throughout 2025, teams across our offices dedicated their time, energy, and resources to causes that matter deeply in the places where we live and work.
As with past years, we’re proud to share a snapshot some of those efforts.
Saskatoon

The Saskatoon team once again demonstrated an incredible commitment to community support, with a strong focus on families and inclusive programs.
A major area of involvement this year was Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan, which provides a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving medical care. Our team supported RMHC-SK through participation in McHappy Day, Christmas gifting initiatives, and a $1,000 donation presented to the organization’s Development Director during Allnorth’s November leadership offsite in Saskatoon.
Beyond Ronald McDonald House SK, the Saskatoon office also rallied behind:
Each effort reflects a shared belief that small actions, taken together, can make a meaningful difference.
Prince George
The Prince George office continues to put heart and a lot of fun into giving back. Each year, the team supports a consistent set of local organizations that reflect their shared values around mental health, compassionate care, and community wellbeing.
Fundraising happens throughout the year in true Prince George style, blending creativity with camaraderie. From a well-loved snack drawer to a rotating lineup of FUNdraising activities such as office BBQs by donation, bake sales, Pi Day “Pie in Your Face,” water balloon challenges, Valentine’s Day guessing games, preferred parking raffles, and even a Super Bowl squares board, the team finds plenty of ways to come together while doing good.
The charities supported are selected by the office and include Prince George Salvation Army, Prince George Rotary Hospice House, and the Canadian Mental Health Association of Northern BC. Through their collective efforts, the Prince George team continues to make a meaningful local impact—proving that giving back can be both purposeful and a lot of fun.
Earth Day & Environmental Stewardship
Prince George
For Earth Day 2025, the Prince George team returned to a familiar mission: cleaning up a 1.5-kilometre stretch of Pulpmill Road. Armed with gloves and determination, the team collected a remarkable volume of waste, helping keep their work neighbourhood cleaner and greener.
Calgary North
The Calgary North office marked Earth Day by bringing the outdoors in—potting plants and adding a little greenery to their office kitchen. A simple gesture, but one that reinforces everyday environmental mindfulness.

Calgary North & South
Community and environmental initiatives were front and centre for both Calgary offices this year.
- 58th Annual Pathway & River Cleanup (May 4)
Team members from Calgary North and South volunteered alongside the City of Calgary in this long-running citywide event, braving cool, misty weather to help maintain Calgary’s parks and pathways.
- Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) Donation

The Calgary South team organized a large-scale e-waste donation to the Electronic Recycling Association, diverting unused electronics from landfills. The contribution included phones, laptops, monitors, AV equipment, and more, thanks to the coordination and heavy lifting of several dedicated team members.
- Calgary Food Bank
Together, the two Calgary offices raised $1,350 and collected food donations in support of the Calgary Food Bank, helping provide emergency food support to individuals and families across the city.
Nanaimo
In April, Allnorth proudly sponsored and participated in the Craft Stick Bridge Breaking Event at Nanaimo Science, hosted by the BC Society of Engineers and Geoscientists (Vancouver Island Branch) in partnership with the Vancouver Island Regional Library and Nanaimo Science, with support from Vancouver Island University.
Allnorth Mechanical Engineer Chris Bandy, P.Eng. (pictured), represented the team, testing a bridge design that held an impressive 55.27 kg. The event welcomed participants of all ages and showcased the creativity and curiosity that drive future careers in engineering and geoscience. Supporting STEM education remains a priority for our Nanaimo office and Allnorth as a whole.
Teams in Saskatchewan and Newfoundland & Labrador came together on May 8 to support McHappy Day, ordering lunch from McDonald’s to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
For one team member, the cause was deeply personal—sharing that access to a Ronald McDonald House decades ago would have made a profound difference for their family during a difficult time. Moments like this remind us why these initiatives matter.
Vancouver
In Vancouver, our team united in support of Food Banks BC, aligning with CBC BC’s Making the Season Kind campaign, which had raised $1.8 million as of December 8.
Through staff donations, the Vancouver office helped address the growing demand for food bank services driven by rising costs and food insecurity across the province. Every contribution—large or small—helped deliver nourishment, dignity, and hope to neighbours in need.
Industry & Inclusion: Women in Consulting Engineering
Allnorth was proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the Women in Consulting Engineering (WCE) Mentorship Event in Vancouver. The sold-out evening brought together mentors, mentees, and volunteers for candid conversation, learning, and connection.
Representing Allnorth were leaders and emerging professionals alike, contributing as mentors, presenters, and organizers. Events like this reinforce our commitment to inclusion, mentorship, and strengthening the future of the engineering profession.
Looking Ahead
From environmental stewardship and food security to education, health, and inclusion, 2025 was another powerful reminder of what’s possible when people come together with purpose.
Thank you to every Allnorth team member who volunteered time, donated resources, organized events, or simply showed up. Your efforts continue to strengthen the communities we’re proud to call home.
