With his extensive experience and remarkable achievements, Russ is set to play a pivotal role in developing opportunities and strategies to enhance Allnorth's organic and acquisition growth.Bringing over 35 years of experience in the consulting business working with multidisciplinary teams, Russ has a proven track record of delivering value-added solutions to clients. His extensive network of industry associates, coupled with his deep understanding of government and public sector clients, private land development, buildings, and industrial projects, positions him as an invaluable asset to our organization. Russ's dedication to building strong client relationships and his ability to motivate teams to collaborate and innovate align strongly with Allnorth's core values.
During his tenure as Executive Vice President and Regional Operating Unit Leader for Canada at Stantec, Russ lead the company's Canadian operations with great success. He worked collaboratively with business partners to spearhead the development of growth opportunities in new sectors, markets and geographies, demonstrating his strategic vision. Russ also fostered strong relationships with Indigenous communities, working closely with them and Stantec’s Canada Indigenous Business and Relations team to establish effective partnerships.
Russ's dedication to community involvement and service reflects the values we hold dear. He has actively contributed to various professional committees and organizations, including the Alberta Public Works Association, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, and the Consulting Engineers of Alberta. Extending beyond his professional role, Russ has also dedicated his time and expertise to organizations such as the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Red Deer College, Red Deer Regional Health Foundation, Big Brothers and Sisters, and served as a Director of the Board for the 2019 Canada Winter Games. He has been recognized by APEGA honoring him with a Community Service Award in 2019 and by Engineers Canada with a Meritorious Award for Community Service in 2020.
